Zusammenfassung
Die oben behandelte erkenntnistheoretische Frage nach der Kategorie der Relation richtet Schiller nicht zum ersten Mal an Goethe. Bereits im September 1794 kam bei einer Sitzung der Naturforschenden Gesellschaft in Jena die Sprache darauf. Es wird oft darauf hingewiesen, dass diese Sitzung eine fundamentale Bedeutung für die Begegnung Goethes mit Schiller hatte: Hier begann die Freundschaft mit ihm, die 11 Jahre lang bis zu Schillers Tod andauern sollte.
