Zusammenfassung
Die traditionelle Humankapitaltheorie war der Grund vieler Kontroversen und führte schließlich zur Weiterentwicklung von verschiedenen, sich konkurrierenden Humankapitaltheorien. Man kann folgende Theorien unterscheiden: Die Filterhypothese, die Effizienzlohn-Theorie, die Theorien des heterogenen Arbeitsmarkts, die „job competition“-Theorie sowie die radikalen Theorien.
