Zusammenfassung
In den vergangenen Jahren haben multinationale Unternehmen (Multinational Enterprises, MNEs) ihr Engagement in Entwicklungs- und Schwellenländern erheblich ausgebaut (vgl. Bruche 2009); sie zielten damit vornehmlich auf den Zugang zu (natürlichen) Ressourcen und die Erschließung von Absatzmärkten ab. Es ist damit zu rechnen, dass diese Länder für MNEs auch zukünftig von hoher Attraktivität sein werden; allerdings dürften sich die Motive eines unternehmerischen Engagements partiell ändern.
