Zusammenfassung
Für die Entwicklung eines inhaltlich validen und reliablen Beobachtungsinstruments zur Analyse von motivationsrelevantem Trainer*innenverhalten im Gesundheitssport wurde in der vorliegenden Untersuchung ein fünfstufiger Prozess durchlaufen, in dem qualitativ-interpretative und quantitativ-analytische Arbeitsschritte so verknüpft werden, dass sich entdeckende und prüfende Forschungsphasen ergänzen. Das Instrument (Instructor Behavior Assessment Scheme: IBAS) wurde anhand von Videosegmenten von N = 7 Trainer*innen aus verschiedenen Gesundheitssportkursen entwickelt. In einem analytischen Prozess wurde zunächst ein theoretisch fundiertes Codesystem deduktiv entwickelt. Dieses wurde anschließend induktiv am empirischen Material feldbezogen ausdifferenziert. Im Fokus stand die Frage, wie motivationsrelevante Indikatoren im (reellen) Verhalten der Trainer*innen sichtbar werden. Die anschließende Kategorisierung und Quantifizierung der Verhaltensweisen steht im Dienste der Standardisierung, Ökonomisierung und Wiederholbarkeit. Abschließend wurde das Instrument einer empirisch-analytischen Qualitätsprüfung unterzogen. Die inhaltliche Validität kann auf der Grundlage zweier Studien aus der Perspektive von Trainer*innen sowie Teilnehmenden von Gesundheitssportkursen bestätigt werden. Sowohl die Interrater-(ICCunjust, einfakt. > 0,78) als auch die Intrarater-Reliabilität (ICCunjust, einfakt. > 0,93) werden als gut bis sehr gut eingestuft.
