Zusammenfassung
In einer Zeit, die durch gesättigte Märkte und eine zunehmende funktionale Austauschbarkeit von Produkten gekennzeichnet ist, stellt sich für Unternehmen immer wieder neu die Frage, womit sich Produkte gegenüber Wettbewerbern differenzieren lassen [1]. Zahlreiche Studien betonen dabei die hohe Bedeutung des Designs, insbesondere des Produktdesigns, für den Erfolg eines Produkts beziehungsweise einer Marke [2]. So ist das Design häufig eines der ersten Produktmerkmale, mit dem ein Kunde im Rahmen eines Kaufprozesses in Berührung kommt.
