Zusammenfassung
Schlagworte wie Conversational Commerce, Coice Commerce, Invisible Apps, Messaging First Communication tauchen in letzter Zeit immer häufiger auf. In diesem Zusammenhang ist dann die Rede von Virtual Assistants, Conversational User Experience, manchmal auch User Interface, Platforms. Letztere werden oft auch einfach nur Chatbots genannt. Doch was steckt dahinter?
Der vorliegende Artikel befasst sich mit dem Phänomen Chatbots und geht dabei auf Funktionsweise, einige Use Cases, auch aus anderen Branchen, sowie Limitierungen und mögliche Entwicklungen ein. Der Beitrag hat nicht den Anspruch, sämtliche technischen Details zu beleuchten oder der Vielfalt des Themas „künstliche Intelligenz“ gerecht zu werden. Er soll vielmehr ein Grundverständnis für die Thematik Chatbot und ihre Möglichkeiten herbeiführen.
