Zusammenfassung

Unter Motorsport werden alle mit motorgetriebenen Land- oder Wasserfahrzeugen betriebenen Sportarten (Automobil-, Motorrad-, Motorbootsport) verstanden. Zum Automobilsport u. a. Straßenrennsport (Racing), Rallye- und Tourenwagensport, Auto- und Rallyecross und Kfz-Veteranensport; zum Motorradsport gehören u. a. Straßenrennsport (Racing), Leistungsprüfungssport (Enduro), Speedway und Eisspeedway; zum Motorbootsport Motorbootrennsport (Regatten auf einem durch Wendebojen markierten Rundkurs von 1500 bis 2000m Länge in mehreren Läufen) und Offshoresport, im weiteren Sinn auch der Wasserskisport. Im Folgenden sollen mehrspurige Wettbewerbsfahrzeuge im Mittelpunkt der Betrachtungen stehen, Abb. A.1.
