Zusammenfassung
In diesem Beitrag wird Wolffs Philosophia prima sive Ontologia in ihren Grundlagen, ihrer Struktur und ihrer Ausführung anhand ausgewählter Abschnitte vorgestellt. Eine besondere Rolle spielen dabei die Prinzipien des Widerspruchs, des ausgeschlossenen Dritten, der Identität und des Grundes, die auch für die weitere Entwicklung des Deutschen Idealismus wichtig werden. Hingewiesen sei ferner auf Wolffs Theorie von Raum und Zeit mit ihrer Unterscheidung eines realen und imaginären Begriffs. Der Beitrag wird abgerundet durch eine Skizze zur (historischen) Bedeutung der Ontologia.
