Abstract
Overview: Chapter 6.1 presents the findings about the economic, political-institutional, and sociocultural context of the four case studies presented, and places them in a historical perspective. Chapter 6.2 summarizes the previous points and results in a conceptualization of the analysis conducted, integrating the view on modern China with the historical perspective.
