Eine Kombination aus Familientherapie und Aufmerksamkeitstraining ist hilfreich. Da Impulsivität viele verschiedene Ursachen hat, muss das therapeutische Vorgehen auch auf jede Familie individuell abgestimmt sein. Ein schematisches Elterneinheitstraining in der Gruppe würde dieses Ziel verfehlen.
