Zusammenfassung

„Ritalin“ wirkt ähnlich wie Kokain. Ob Methylphenidat süchtig macht, ist endgültig nicht geklärt. Die bisherigen Studien sind zu undifferenziert und methodenschwach, sie haben sich zum Beispiel noch nie mit der so wichtigen Frage beschäftigt, ob die Methylphenidatgabe nicht im Sinne einer Substitution (wie Methadon für Heroin) selbst bereits eine Drogenabhängigkeit darstellen bzw. kaschieren kann.
