Zusammenfassung

Meine Arbeit als Anti-Rassismus und Empowerment-Trainer führt mich mit Menschen aus den verschiedensten Kontexten zusammen: Leute aus dem politischen Aktivismus, wie zum Beispiel die Antifa, Leute, die im sogenannten „multikulturellen“ Bereich viel mit People of Color arbeiten und Leute, die aus ganz persönlichen Gründen für sich entschieden haben, etwas gegen Rassismus zu tun. Eines der faszinierendsten Elemente ist immer wieder zu erleben, wie bei so vielen Menschen so viel Unklarheit über den Begriff der „Rasse“ herrschen kann. Stellt sich doch die Frage, wie können wir erfolgreich Strategien gegen Rassismus entwickeln, wenn wir nicht genau wissen, was eigentlich „Rasse“ nun ist? Dieser Text soll ein Versuch sein etwas mehr Klarheit über den Begriff der „Rasse“ herzustellen, soll ein Beitrag sein „Rasse“, Rassifizierung und Rassismus zu entmystifizieren.
