Zusammenfassung
Die Diskussion um die Relevanz der räumlichen Entfernung für Wissenstransfers wird in diesem Kapitel erweitert. Es werden vier weitere Arten der Nähe zwischen Organisationen präsentiert, die ebenfalls die Wahrscheinlichkeit und die Effizienz des interorganisationalen Wissenstransfers beeinflussen. Eine besondere Beachtung findet dabei die kognitive Nähe, die unter den anderen Arten der Nähe (organisatorische, institutionelle, soziale, geographische) eine Sonderrolle einnimmt.
