Zusammenfassung
Was geschieht, wenn sich der Inhalt eines Mediums auf ein anderes Medium abfärbt? Der Beitrag untersucht die Bedeutung des Begriffs Transmedialität, skizziert eine kurze Theoriegeschichte und geht seiner Beziehung zu Computerspielen auf den Grund. Drei Aspekte spielen dabei eine Rolle: rezeptionsästhetische Ansätze, produktionsästhetische Ansätze und medienästhetische (vor allem ludische) Ansätze. Als Beispiele werden die Spiele Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, Alien: Isolation und The Walking Dead: Season One diskutiert.
