Design of \( {\mathcal{L}}_{2} \) Nonlinear Observer-based FD Systems

Abstract

The main objective of this chapter is to study the integrated design of \( {\mathcal{L}}_{2} \) observer-based FD systems for general nonlinear systems. It has been demonstrated in Chapter 3 that \( {\mathcal{L}}_{2} \) re-constructability serves as the existence condition for \( {\mathcal{L}}_{2} \) nonlinear observer-based FD systems. For application of these results, a mathematical and systematic tool is needed to handle nonlinear issues.
