Zusammenfassung
Die koranische Christologie bekräftigt, und zwar gegen die chalzedonischen und monophysitischen Positionen, dass Jesus weder als „Gottessohn“ noch „Gott“ im Sinne einer trinitarischen Gottheit anzusehen sei, sondern nur als Gesandter und Prophet, als Knecht Gottes, als Sohn der Maria, auch als „Wort“ (arab. kalim, griech. logos) sowie als Messias (al-masih) betrachtet werden darf.
