Abstract

Topics that were discussed during and after the ciné débats will be presented in detail in this chapter. This section focuses on questions raised by the attendees, as well as pertinent statements from the moderation team of the AFD. Thanks to their wealth of experience in this research area, the AFD team tackled issues that related to the inhabitants of the region where the film was shown. They respected and engaged in topics that mattered to the public such as: the role of women in society; the reasons for and against FGM; and reactions and feelings about the film.
