Zusammenfassung
In zahlreichen Discountern kann man beispielsweise Slogans lesen, wie: „Bei uns Bio genießen – Bei uns genießen Sie mit über 450 Produkten Qualität und Natürlichkeit, denn die Produkte sind sorgfältig ausgesucht, kontrolliert und ohne unnötige Zusätze. Immer mehr unser Bio Produkte tragen zudem das Naturland Zeichen für hohe biologische und soziale Standards.“ Ganz offensichtlich versuchen Unternehmen sich mit solchen und ähnlichen Werbetexten Kundenwünsche anzupassen und sich auf die Bedürfnisse in ihren Zielgruppen auszurichten – vielleicht sogar diese zu verstärken oder zu wecken. Es ist ein klassischer Fall von Werbung, der es dem Unternehmen ermöglicht, sich am Markt auszurichten. Oft werden die Begriffe Werbung und Marketing synonym verwandt, allerdings ist dies falsch. Werbung ist ein Bestandteil von Marketing. Marketing ist in seinem Begriffsinhalt viel umfassender, wie das folgende Kapitel zeigen wird.
