Zusammenfassung

Mit Proximity-based Services hat sich in den letzten Jahren eine neue Kategorie von mobilen Applikationen entwickelt. Diese Entwicklung ist maßgeblich von der Verbreitung vorhandener oder Entwicklung gänzlicher neuer Technologien, wie NFC, Bluetooth Low Energy oder LTE Direct getrieben. In diesem Kapitel werden optoelektronisch lesbare Codes, NFC, Bluetooth LE und LTE Direct sowohl in ihrer Funktionsweise als auch anhand einiger ausgewählter Anwendungsmöglichkeiten dargestellt.
