Die Bevölkerung in Europa wird älter. Viele Ältere wünschen sich, möglichst lange zu Hause wohnen bleiben zu können. Deswegen ist es wichtig, dass man mehr Gewicht auf Prävention legt. In diesem Kapitel wird zuerst dargestellt, was die Europäische Union in der Sache unternimmt und drum über einige Praxisbei in Europa berichtet.
