Zusammenfassung

Das Kapitel stellt zunächst die Entwicklung eines Kodierhandbuches für die aus der Literatur abgeleiteten Risikofaktoren für Staatskollaps dar. Darauf aufbauend wird der Prozess der Datenerhebung, die Probleme dieser, die angewandten Methoden zur Qualitätssicherung und die Erstellung der verschiedenen Datensätze beschrieben. In einem nächsten Schritt werden die Ergebnisse der beiden QCA-Vergleiche dargestellt und diskutiert. Den Abschluss bildet eine kurze methodische Reflexion auf Basis der bisher dargestellten Ergebnisse welche zur Ergänzung der QCA durch vergleichende Process-Tracing-Studien im nächsten Kapitel überleitet.
