Zusammenfassung

Das sozial-artistische Stadtlabor zURBS wurde 2011 in Zürich von einem kleinen Kollektiv junger Stadtforscher und Stadtforscherinnen als Non-Profit-Verein gegründet. Ursprünglich hatten wir Politikwissenschaft, Soziologie, Theater und Performance, Ereignisdesign, Architektur und Urbanistik studiert. Gemeinsam setzten wir uns intensiv mit europäischen Städten auseinander: allen voran Brüssel, Gent, Wien, Zagreb, Budapest, Kopenhagen, Madrid und Zürich. Anhand dieser Städte beobachteten und untersuchten wir die gesellschaftlichen und politischen Prozesse von Stadtproduktion. Stadttheoretiker haben uns in ihren Texten mit Analysen, Thesen und Forderungen begleitet.
