Zusammenfassung

Die Architektur der Stadt hat einen manifesten Einfluss auf die Identifikation der StadtbewohnerInnen und auf die Vorstellungen, die mit dieser Stadt verbunden werden. Konstruiert wird diese vorgestellte Wirklichkeit durch die Teilhabe an einem gemeinsamen Wissen und einem gemeinsamen Gedächtnis, die kommunikativ vermittelt wird. Innerhalb jeder Gemeinschaft besteht die Bereitschaft, bestimmte Gemeinsamkeiten als solche anzunehmen und sich darüber zu verständigen – eine kollektive oder Wir-Identität, unter der A.
