Zusammenfassung
Fairness im Internationalen Handel kann in unterschiedlichen Handlungsfeldern thematisiert werden: auf einer betriebswirtschaftlichen Ebene, mit einem Blick auf die kompetitive Situation zwischen unterschiedlichen Ländern oder im Spanungsfeld zwischen Industriestaaten und Ländern auf dem Weg der Entwicklung. Wenn auch die aktuelle Diskussion das Konzept der Fairness sehr stark im Rahmen der Entwicklungs-Thematik behandelt, darf nicht aus den Augen verloren werden, dass der grundlegende Gedanke seit langer Zeit im Zusammenhang mit dem Setzen von Außenwirtschaftsförderungsmaßnahmen eine wesentliche Rolle gespielt hat und nach wie vor spielt.
