Abstract

Michael Kimmel analyses gender equality from a sociological perspective encompassing both women and men. He argues that women, but also men will win by promoting gender equality due to the societal and organizational changes and the enhanced work-life-flexibility this brings about. Michael Kimmel promotes active and conscious recruiting processes, awareness for biases and private goals as well as multidimensional solutions in order to bring about this change.
