Abstract

Guided by the research processes defined by Österle et al. (1991) and focusing the major concepts incorporated in Eisenhardt’s (1989) research roadmap process, this chapter describes how the relevant theoretical concepts and procedure are applied in the present study to build practical oriented theory from case study research (Österle et al. 1991; Eisenhardt 1989). The approach is highly iterative, tightly linked to data and especially appropriate in new topic areas (Eisenhardt 1989).
