Zusammenfassung

Der vorliegende Beitrag thematisiert Diversity Kompetenz und deren Zusammenhänge zu sozialer Verantwortung und Führungspersönlichkeit. Hierfür wird der Begriff der Diversität zunächst vorgestellt und es werden aktuelle Trends in der Gesellschaft und Wirtschaft näher beleuchtet, wie mit dem Thema der (kulturellen) Diversität in diesen Bereichen aktuell umgegangen wird. Als weitere wichtige Grundlagen für das Thema des vorliegenden Beitrages wird das Konstrukt der sozialen Diskriminierung eingehend beleuchtet und auf die Gründe ihrer Entstehung, Wirkung und Aufrechterhaltung eingegangen. Dabei werden weiterhin Ansätze zur Reduktion der sozialen Diskriminierung aufgezeigt, die sich in den Bereichen der Persönlichkeit und Führung, aber auch auf der Gruppen- und organisationalen Ebene finden lassen.
