Zusammenfassung
Die Entwicklung eines neuen Elektrofahrzeugkonzepts für die Stadt 2030 ist auch aus psychologischer Sicht eine Herausforderung. Elektromobilität erhält immer mehr Einzug in das alltägliche Leben, stellt jedoch für viele Konsumenten immer noch ein weitgehend unbekanntes und neuartiges Themenfeld dar. Entscheidungen, die Neuerungen betreffen, bergen ein großes Maß an Unsicherheit, da noch keine Erfahrungswerte und wenig Wissen über das Produkt vorliegen. Eine Innovation kann zunächst relativ schnell als eine Chance oder eine Bedrohung eingestuft werden, je nachdem in welche Richtung die erste Bewertung ausfällt. Dabei gibt es Personen, die generell Neuerungen eher offen (innovators/ early adopters), und andere, die ihnen zunächst eher skeptisch gegenüberstehen (laggards). Bei der Mehrheit der Bevölkerung bestehen zunächst gewisse Hemmschwellen und Barrieren, die bewirken, dass Neuerungen erst spät angenommen werden (late majority). Eine besondere Herausforderung ist es daher, herauszufinden, welche Faktoren dafür verantwortlich sind, dass neuartige Produkte prinzipiell abgelehnt oder überhaupt in Erwägung gezogen werden.
