Abstract

Anyone who ever started playing a musical instrument has made that experience: At the beginning there is nothing much you can do but lock yourself in a room and practice. Only once you’ve got accustomed to your instrument and know all its techniques, you can start playing along with others. And maybe, one day, you will find your way into that big orchestra where your own instrument can hardly be detected but where it is of no less importance to the overall emerging music.
