Zusammenfassung

Das Konzept der Psychopathie („psychopathy“) charakterisiert eine besonders schwerwiegende Persönlichkeitsstörung, die mit anhaltendem antisozialen und kriminellen Verhalten und Defiziten im affektiv-interpersonellen Bereich assoziiert ist (z. B. Hare 2003; Sevecke und Krischer 2014). Es handelt sich dabei um eine spezifische Form der antisozialen Persönlichkeitsstörung im Erwachsenenalter (z. B. Petermann und Koglin 2013; Vincent und Hart 2002), die mit persistenter Delinquenz allgemein und gewaltassoziierter Delinquenz im Speziellen verknüpft ist (z. B. Hoge et al. 2012). Das Konzept der Psychopathie erlaubt eine Differenzierung der antisozialen Persönlichkeitsstörung: Während die Kriterien der antisozialen Persönlichkeitsstörung eher konkretes abweichendes Verhalten beschreiben, fokussieren die Merkmale der Psychopathie mehr auf psychische Variablen, interpersonale bzw. affektive Komponenten und die dissoziale Persönlichkeitsstruktur (Blair et al. 2006; Loeber et al. 2003; Sevecke und Krischer 2014).
