Zusammenfassung

Postkoloniale Theorie ist weit mehr als eine interessante, ungewöhnliche Ergänzung und Bereicherung für die Friedens- und Konfliktforschung (FuK). Sie kann nicht einfach hinzugefügt werden. Eher stellt postkoloniales Denken, das die Dekolonialisierung der Wissenschaften miteinbezieht, eine Provokation und Herausforderung dar. Ich nehme hier diese eher konfrontative Haltung ein, die nach grundlegenden Veränderungen sucht. Damit knüpfe ich an die von Bettina Engels (in diesem Band) formulierten Befürchtungen an, Postkolonialismus zu reduzieren und verharmlosen.
