Zusammenfassung
In dem Beitrag wird das Verhältnis der Organisationssoziologie zur Wirtschaft, zu Unternehmen und, damit zusammenhängend, zur (Institutionen-) Ökonomik diskutiert. Ich plädiere dafür, erstens, die Ökonomie nicht den Ökonomen zu überlassen, zweitens, sich gegenüber der Institutionenökonomik nicht defensiv zu verhalten, sondern das Ökonomische als ein Soziales und außerdem die an ökonomischen Bedingungen der Ökonomie selbstbewusst zu thematisieren, drittens Organisationen, besonders Unternehmen als korporative Akteure und viertens deren Vernetzung und Verstrickung in internationale Beziehungen in der Rangordnung der epistemischen Dinge der Organisationssoziologie entschieden höher zu platzieren.
