Abstract

This chapter describes two pipelines that employ deformations of volumetric grids as described in Chapter 5.

Section 10.1 deals with automatic reconstruction of anatomical landmarks adjacent to the pelvic bones from CT, as published in Seim et al. (2009). We compare different approaches for geometric reconstruction of landmarks, i.e. image appearance is not modeled for the landmarks.
