Lernen ist gesellschaftlich überwiegend positiv konnotiert. Das ganze Leben ist ein Lernen; wir alle lernen jeden Tag. „Lernen hat gesellschaftlich den Status der Nichthinterfragbarkeit – ähnlich vielleicht wie Gerechtigkeit oder Liebe“ (Orthey 2004, S. 101).
