Zusammenfassung
Arbeitgebermarken sind im Wettbewerb um Mitarbeiter ein zentraler Erfolgsfaktor. Der vorliegende Beitrag gibt einen Überblick über Strategie und Technik des Employer Brand Managements. Nach einer Darstellung zentraler theoretischer Grundlagen wird ein integrativer Ansatz für das Management von Arbeitgebermarken präsentiert. Dabei wird zwischen einer strategischen und operativen Perspektive unterschieden. Das strategische Employer Brand Management umfasst die Analyse der Ausgangssituation der Arbeitgebermarke sowie die Entwicklung oder Aktualisierung der Employer Branding-Strategie. Herzstück der Strategie ist die Arbeitgeberpositionierung. Das operative Employer Brand Management setzt die Strategie um. Hierzu gehört die Konzeption und Durchführung eines zielorientierten Programms zur Kommunikation der Arbeitgebermarke sowie eine regelmäßige Erfolgskontrolle. Schritt für Schritt zeigen die Autoren auf, wie Unternehmen ihre Arbeitgebermarke aufbauen und steuern können.

In der Praxis verbreitet sind auch Methoden, bei denen das Budget nicht auf Basis von Zielen, sondern als absolute Größe auf Basis von Werten der Vorperiode oder verfügbarer Ressourcen festgelegt wird.
