Abstract
In FD-OCT a Fourier transform needs to be performed to obtain depth information from the acquired spectral OCT data (Section 2.7.2). This Fourier transform needs to be performed with respect to the wavenumber k-axis, but most Fourier-domain OCT setups do not provide spectral data that is acquired as a function of the wavenumber k, and resampling needs to be performed prior to the actual Fourier transform. This resampling step is crucial to OCT imaging quality, and in this Chapter, different methods to perform a fast Fourier transform (FFT) on data points that are given on non-equispaced nodes will be evaluated.
