Abstract
In the preceding chapters, ontology-based cognitive maps were conceptualized as a tool to answer external complexity. This empirical study highlights themes of interaction, which are used to find answers to external complexity in a typical setting for distributed organizing, a network of researchers located in Germany. This study is, thus, informing the design of the information system in part V by looking at the interaction processes of this network of researchers in order to see how ontology-based cognitive maps could be applied.
