Zusammenfassung
Im Oktober 2013 meldete die britische Tageszeitung „The Sun“ eine sensationelle medizintechnische Neuentwicklung des Unternehmens Sarif Industries: Ein hochkomplexes Implantat mache es in Kürze möglich, Menschen einen künstlichen Augapfel einzupflanzen. Das Blatt druckte auch ein Foto dieses innovativen Implantates ab, auf dem eine augapfelgroße Kameralinse mit davon wegführenden elektronischen Nervenbahnen zu erkennen war. Was die Redakteure von „The Sun“ für die Wahrheit hielten, entpuppte sich allerdings später als reine Fiktion.
