Abstract

Since simulation runs of the service discovery algorithms for large scenarios and with an appropriate number of Monte Carlo iterations to reach statistical confidence take a considerable amount of time, analytical models have been created. Those models can be calculated in a duration, which is an order of magnitude smaller than the duration for the simulation, cf. section 9.1.3.
