Zusammenfassung
Politische Ökonomie ist ein schillernder Begriff, dessen Konnotationen sich im Laufe der Zeit stark gewandelt haben und der deshalb sehr unterschiedlich gebraucht wird (Drazen 2000: Kap. 1). In einer ersten Interpretation steht der Begriff für ein bestimmtes Forschungsfeld, nämlich die Analyse der Interaktionen zwischen Ökonomie und Politik. Alternativ wird er zweitens als Synonym für – im Einzelnen durchaus unterschiedliche – Ansätze zur Analyse ökonomischer Zusammenhänge verstanden, die, etwa in der marxistischen Tradition, jenseits des ökonomischen Mainstream stehen oder durch die Berücksichtigung nichtökonomischer Rahmenbedingungen über diesen hinausgehen.
