Zusammenfassung

Active Battery Management System (BMS) with Data Gathering System in Electric Research Vehicle A test will be performed on a completely self-developed active battery management system (BMS) for lithium-ion cells in a research vehicle. The system consists of one master node and three slave nodes. The master node serves to communicate data between the slave nodes or the vehicle’s onboard CAN-Bus (a real-time gateway between the BMS and vehicle ECU). Every slave node monitors the parameters of up to ten connected cells and controls the voltage balancing via a predetermined algorithm.
