Kai Felkendorff und Jörg Michael Kastl setzen sich in ihrer Einleitung mit dem Verhältnis von biographischer, gesellschaftlicher und wissenschaftlicher Erfahrung im konkreten Fall der Soziologie der Behinderten und dem Werk von Günther Cloerkes auseinander.
I wish to say that it does not follow that because we have on the one side experience which is individual, …, and have on the other a common world, that we have two separate levels of existence or reality. … A great deal that appears simply as the experience of an individual, as his own sensation or perception, becomes public later.
