Abstract

The present tour dĀ“horizon has demonstrated the diversity and complexity of the subject. Owing to the fact that all IT processes are closely linked to one another and that all of the related activities will have an impact on daily operations, one must remain aware of the fact that smooth-running processes are absolutely necessary. The difficulty lies in the quality of the interactions between the various organizational units so that the enterprise can develop optimally with the implemented IT systems.
