Functional Group: IT Support

In the present chapter, we turn our attention to a detailed description of the following two processes that belong to the IT SUPPORT functional group:

– P16 - Incident Management

– P17 - Problem Management

Owing to various process dependencies, it will also be necessary in this context to consider the following three additional processes:

– P10 - Requirements Management

– P12 - Release Management

– P14 - IT Operation & Configuration Management

The relationships between these three latter processes and the above-mentioned processes will be examined at the end of the chapter.
