Zusammenfassung
Die Regelungen in Großbritannien zum geltenden Mutterschutz und Leistungen während dieses Zeitraums sind weniger großzügig als das in Deutschland der Fall ist und soll Mütter schneller wieder motivieren – oder auch zwingen – an den Arbeitsplatz zurückzukehren. Die Andersartigkeit beginnt bereits damit, dass es vor der Geburt keinen Mutterschutz gibt und die werdende Mutter theoretisch bis zum Zeitpunkt der Geburt ihrer beruflichen Tätigkeit nachgehen kann.
