Ist der Körper der Zeit unterworfen oder ist es umgekehrt? Steht der Körper in einem passiven oder aktiven Verhältnis zur Zeit? Dies sind Fragen, die die Philosophie und Geistes- und Sozialwissenschaften schon lange beschäftigen. Sie berühren auf eine ganz besondere Weise die Frage nach der Zeitlichkeit des Körpers, vor allem, wenn diese aus einer soziologischen Perspektive betrachtet wird.
