Abstract

This paper informs about a new kind of foot-bridges. The construction method, the history of the development and some examples of now existing bridges will be presented. The bridges are made of granite and pre-stressing tendons. The construction method was developed by the engineering company Zilch+Müller Ingenieure, Munich and the fabricator of natural stone Kusser.
