Zusammenfassung
Der Implementierung von Strategien einer De-Commoditisierung wird in der Literatur bisher wenig Aufmerksamkeit zuteil. Im Rahmen einer nicht-preisbezogenen De-Commoditisierung kann eine Differenzierung anhand überlegener Produkte und Dienstleistungen sowie anhand überlegener Kundenbeziehungen erfolgen. Inwiefern diese beiden Ansätze für Commodity-Anbieter anwendbar sind und ob eine Integration dieser Ansätze zu einer wirksamen De-Commoditisierung beitragen kann, ist bisher weitgehend ungeklärt. Auf Basis einer Literaturauswertung und einer qualitativen Untersuchung in der Feuerfestindustrie identifiziert der vorliegende Beitrag Ansätze einer De-Commoditisierung, Möglichkeiten einer Implementierung sowie unternehmensinterne und unternehmensexterne Voraussetzungen.
