Zusammenfassung
Die Partnersuche im Internet stellt mittlerweile, ebenso wie das Shopping über Ebay, die Informationsbeschaffung über Wikipedia oder die Kontaktpflege über Facebook einen nicht mehr zu übersehenden Ausdruck der Technisierung und Digitalisierung unserer Gesellschaft dar. Über das mediale Interesse und die intensive Bewerbung spezifischer Dating- und Matching-Plattformen hinaus häufen sich auch wissenschaftliche Untersuchungen, die die Relevanz dieses nicht mehr ganz so neuen Phänomens zu objektivieren versuchen.
