Zusammenfassung

Fortschritt bezeichnet eine zumeist im positiven verstandene Änderung eines bisherigen Zustands. Er kommt durch Lernprozesse zustande, die dazu führen, dass neue Situationen immer besser bewältigt werden können. Fortschritt belebt Aufschwung und Konjunktur, ohne Fortschritt entsteht Rezession. Fortschritt ist also entscheidend für die Entwicklung der Gesellschaft.
